Description
The vacuum based load lifting attachment OKTOPUS® IT-BT 500 is designed for handling large-sized construction elements with a maximum weight of up to 500 kg on construction sites. Each function is controlled via remote control (optional radio remote control). The necessary negative pressure in the suction pads is generated by a vacuum pump which is operated with 24 V DC.
Optical and acoustic signaling devices indicate deviations from the nominal condition. Even in case of complete breakdown of energy supply the vacuum will remain in each suction pad for at least 5 minutes. In this way it is ensured that the load can be securely lowered at all times.

Material to be handled
The OKTOPUS® IT-BT 500 is suitable for handling sandwich elements. The suction areas of the elements to be lifted have to be air-impermeable, have to have an even and clean surface and must not be covered with protective film.
